MA860H is a digital stepping motor driver, using the latest 32 bit DSP technology, to meet the needs of most applications. Due to the use of the built-in micro - technology, even in the condition of low breakdown, it can achieve the effect of high breakdown, low in high - speed operation is very smooth, noise is very small. In the drive, the parameters of the automatic setting function are integrated, which can automatically generate the optimal operating parameters for different machines.

Major application areas

Drive function description

Output current setting

SW3 - SW1 three - - a set of switches to set the drive output current, the output current of a total of 8. The setting of the output current, please drive the layout of the driver.

Automatic semi flow function

The user can set the automatic half flow function of the driver by SW4. The static current is set to half of the current of on, and the static current of off is the same as that of the current. General use of SW4 should be set to off, so that the motor and the drive of fever, reliability improvement. About 0.4 seconds after the pulse train stops the current is automatically reduced to about half (60% of the actual value), and the heat is reduced to 36%.

Signal interface

PUL + and PUL - for controlling positive and negative signals of the pulse signal, + and DIR - and DIR - ENA + and ENA - for the positive and negative ends of the signal.

Motor Interface

A + and A - the positive and negative side of the A phase winding of the motor, B + and B - the positive and negative ends of the B phase windings of the motor. When the A and B two phase windings are replaced, the motor can be reversed.

Power supply interface

The DC power supply, voltage range for 48-80 VAC, power is greater than 500W.

Indicator light

Drive have  red and  green two lights. The green light for the power indicator, when the driver on the green light is often bright; red light for the fault indicator, when there is an over voltage, over current fault, fault lights often bright. After the failure of the red light out. When the drive fails, only the power to re - up and re - enable to remove the fault.

Installation instructions

The shape size of the driver is: 118 * 75.5 * 33mm, and the mounting hole distance is 109mmmm. Both horizontal and vertical installation, it is recommended to use vertical installation. When installed, it should be close to the metal cabinet in favor of heat dissipation.

Description:

The MA860H is a high performance microstepping drive based on pure-sinusoidal current control technology. Owing to the above technology and the self-adjustment technology (self-adjust current control parameters) according to different motors, the driven motors can run with smaller noise, lower heating, smoother movement and have better performances at higher speed than most of the drives on the markets. It is suitable for driving 2-phase and 4-phase hybrid stepping motors.

PUL+
Pulse signal: In single pulse (pulse/direction) mode, this input represents pulse signal, active at each rising or falling edge (set by inside jumper J3); 4-5V when PUL-HIGH, 0-0.5V when PUL-LOW. In double pulse mode (pulse/pulse) , this input represents clockwise (CW) pulse,active at high level or low level (set by inside jumper J3). For reliable response, pulse width should be longer than 1.5?s. Series connect resistors for current-limiting when +12V or +24V used.

DIR+
DIR signal: In single-pulse mode, this signal has low/high voltage levels, representing two directions of motor rotation; in double-pulse mode (set by inside jumper J1), this signal is counter-clock (CCW) pulse,active at high level or low level (set by inside jumper J3). For reliable motion response, DIR signal should be ahead of PUL signal by 5?s at least. 4-5V when DIR-HIGH, 0-0.5V when DIR-LOW. Please note that motion direction is also related to motor-driver wiring match. Exchanging the connection of two wires for a coil to the driver will reverse motion direction.

Enable signal: This signal is used for enabling/disabling the driver. High level (NPN control signal, PNP and Differential control signals are on the contrary, namely Low level for enabling.) for enabling the driver and low level for disabling the driver. Usually left UNCONNECTED (ENABLED).
